From Him we came, to Him we return

Unexpected surprise. That's what life is. Another Muslim brother has left us and gone to a better place, Insyallah. Syed Faruk Bin Syed Anwar Alkaff was pronounced dead on the 8th May 2009, 0148 hours. Whether being a son, grandson, brother or friend, Syed Faruk has touched many lives within his short but worthwhile life. Seeing his face for the last time brought back memories that are imperceptible. Our days as platoon mates in NCC(Sea) suddenly was just moments ago. Marching, soccer, the-failed-attempt-to-learn-swimming-days at Bedok Swimming Complex and kayaking were just a few experiences I shared with him personally. The lessons to be learnt here are that we can go at any time and at any place and also to be always kind and true to others as well as yourself cos we may never have the chance to do so.

Faruk, you will be dearly missed by everyone that knows you.
