Can't Escape Fate

Sometimes we're on a collision course, and we just don't know it. Whether it's by accident or by design, there's not a thing we can do about it.

Like the curious case of Benjamin Button, where Benjamin was explaining how Daisy met with an accident, so was my case in real life. Although this incident didn't hurt me physically, pocket wise not so lucky. This is how the story goes...

A man came home from a religious sermon to find that there was no bread left for breakfast the next morning. So he asked his eldest son to buy one and gave him $5. What this man didn't realise was that his son had earlier cancelled a trip to his friend's house for poker. His son comply but he planned to do it later. Soon his son become very tired and contemplated to do this small favor the next day or pretend to forget about it entirely. So obviously he fell asleep but woke up all of a sudden from a very ticklish dream(By ticklish I meant literally means to feel physically ticklish in his sleep). He remembered the money his dad gave him so he went out to run the errand. He rode his motorcycle to the nearest 24/7 supermarket to get the bread. When he reached his destination, he parked at the walkway and alighted only to be greeted by two traffic police. The rest was history.

What rotten luck!!! Sui-sui turun motor jer kene horn ngan ROV. Kene routine check tros kene saman. Mintak chance tapi tetap kene saman 2 offence. Tinted visor and spoiled tail light.

If only...

the son went to meet his friends
the son went earlier instead of dozing off
the son didn't buy the tinted visor which Ah Boy claimed to pass the TP's requirement
the son went to repair his tail light
the son didn't finish the loaf of bread for himself

(oklah the last one was to add humor only. haha I didn't even touch a grain)

But life being what it is - a series of intersecting lives and incidents, out of anyone's control
